Testing...testing

Today I got home from work early - we were supposed to have training and the weather fucked everything up, which fucked up the whole work day for everyone, and I ended up going home earlier than usual because I wasn't needed.

Not a problem.

I ran a couple quick errands then went home and laid on the couch.  I set my alarm for about an hour, surely I would wake up before then anyway, then I'd get started on my homework.  Two and a half hours later after a couple alarm resets, I peeled myself off the couch to get Brandon from his Wednesday class at the other school.

I could have slept for days.

Amanda spent some time after school with a friend, so it was just me and B.  I didn't even bother getting out my reading because the boy does not stop talking to me.  Don't get me wrong, I love him and all that is him - he just needs to learn to give the voice a rest once in a while.

Amanda came home, dinner was eaten (yay Mc Donald's for their cheap deal on this leap day), we were all dispersed to do homework.  No sooner would I start a sentence than Mom?  How do you...  Mom - can you help me with this question?  Mom - can you please explain... Mom Mom Mom Mom momomomomomomom.

Both of them were relentless in their pursuit of my brilliance...*snort*

I finally put down the paper I was trying to read - two paragraphs in an hour was only getting me frustrated.

I opened up my computer and putzed around for a bit...not a word from the monsters.  Their homework must have been jealous of my homework, because any time I tried to read they needed me.  I bullshit....bullshat?...bullshitted?  I pooped around on the computer and nothing.

Not a peep.

When I brought that observation up to them they just laughed, the little fuckers.  They were good hearty laughs so I'll let that one pass.

I didn't even try homework again until around 9:45, when they were sleeping and I was alone.

Needless to say, I'm not finished - I have to miss class tomorrow because of work which will buy me a little time, but I would rather be in that classroom listening to a lecture than be in training for work.  If I could tell management to stick it, I sure would.

Yes I know I'm blogging when I could be reading.  I needed a break.

I'm glad I'm only taking two classes - anything more would sink me completely.  Between school, work, kids, and their activities, I'm just about at my breaking point.  This time of year at work we are inundated with tests, I guess so we can show them we know how to do our jobs.  An x-ray test has been taken, today I took a test on SOP, in a few weeks we have our practical skills evaluations, and somewhere in the mix is another test for another function we do.

Yesterday I took an exam in my anthropology class (and got another A!!).

So. Much. Information.  I think my head is going to melt.

A few days ago someone asked me how I do it all...I replied with a blank stare...

I really have no fucking idea.

I'm going to ask a favor of all you out there in blog land:  If you know anyone, overhear anyone, know someone's uncle's nieces cat who knows someone who wants to shell out some moolah out of the goodness of his/her heart so I can be a full time student and not work,

LET ME KNOW.

I would prefer that my head not melt thankyouverymuch.

:)

I sure would if I could, but I don't have what it takes. Sadness.
I can however offer this. Since you are a student you have holiday and if you have holiday and work at the airport can you get a discount and come visit me here in Krakow? Or better yet borrow a plane. Send your little talkers dad's way for a couple of weeks and come relax... ? :D
