I received a comment to my last post and it made me stop and think...it helped to redirect my thoughts from what is making me feel overwhelmed to what I am blessed to have in my life. Thank you Carol, for helping me see that I am an incredibly blessed woman, and there are people out there who are far worse off than I am.
- Two healthy, happy, amazing, smart, BEAUTIFUL, amazing, compassionate, amazing, funny children. They are the center of my universe!
- A job that I enjoy, that I am good at, that allows me to support myself and my kids without help from anyone else.
- A car that, although is having its problems, still gets me where I need to go. As frustrating as it may be, I can see between the cracks.
- A home that keeps us warm and safe.
- Food in our bellies.
- Clothes on our backs.
- Someone in my life who makes me feel loved and valued, despite the ups and downs I have when life gets so overwhelming I can't seem to make any sense of it. Thank you J.
- Music.
- Laughter.
- Ibuprofen.
- Tears... when I cry they cleanse my soul from within.
- The ability to get back up after I fall, to believe in myself enough that I can try again, facing failure every time.
- Amazing friends.
- Amazing friends.
- Amazing friends.
- A desire to continue to grow despite the struggles that I feel on a daily basis.
- Love.
