Chefs

Tonight the kids took over the kitchen and prepared for the opening of their new restaurant, "Bonjour."

Amanda had the brilliant idea of tying long-sleeved shirts around their waists for aprons.  Perfecto!

Easy does it...

How's that cake coming?

By the time they were done, I, their most valued customer, was so full of nothing I felt like I would explode.  :)

Kim,

Another thing I like about your blog is that you capture what is beautiful and special in every-day moments of imagination, intimacy and normalcy.

It's so clear that you and your kids have lots of quality time together and that they are full of creativity and fun!

I love your expression of showing us the beauty and simplicity of life is the smallest detail. Your ability to create is amazing! I can see why your desire to become a school teacher was so strong. I am impressed with how you make things fun and simple. Grandma

Good grief Kim cannot figure out why I am having to comment twice on this blog lately, when I press publish it doesn't go through and the comment box goes blank. So again forgive the repeat. Grandma
