I have a few minutes left until I put on my monkey suit and head back into work for the last half of my shift. I'm sitting here watching a movie, buried in a comforter, sun shining through the window and into my eyes, a very welcome feeling. We woke to a blanket of snow, in which clumps are melting from the tops of the tall bushes and falling to the ground in sloppy drops. This means it's warming up...with no wind. NO. WIND.
I love moments like this, when the warmth of the sun on the side of my face reminds me that there is a light at the end of this cold, wintery, frequently blustery tunnel.
