I was tired tonight (ha!) but after a long day at work I needed to be outside, so I saddled up my horse and went for a ride down to the spillway at the bottom of the dam (for those of you who think I'm talking about a real horse think again...I'm no cowgirl! I just have a trusty old bike). A gorgeous evening it was...nice and cool in the shade of the mountains. I learned two things while out on my ride: 1) I'm really out of shape. Well, I already knew that, but this ride shook its fist in my face and slapped me on the ass. 2) I should really pay attention to the side of the road that leads to the river - almost learned the hard way on that one.
As I headed home in the car I couldn't help but to keep taking pictures of the town in the beautiful light as the sun was beginning to set. The rodeo was starting to fill up and would soon be starting, and our Heart Mountain looked as proud as ever. Were it not for my ungodly wake-up call facing me in the morning I would have been snapping pictures all night.

I had a great time too, and one of these days we'll get a picture of the two of us enjoying Cody. :)
