I recently bought a three-bag dirty laundry divider thingy. I brought it home, took one look at the box,
and thought
and thought
Fuck...it's got insructions and everything, which means it's gonna take WORK.
Then I remembered something that will eventually become very vital to this household...
If my little man child can build this little nugget
or THIS...
then surely he could build my three-bag dirty laundry divider thingy.
He was totally excited and willing when I asked him to do this stupid very important job for me, especially when I pointed out that it had instructions!
OOOHHHH AAAHHHHHHH.......
He did very well, only needing help once or twice when he didn't read the instructions quite right...but he did so awesome I'm going to have to use and abuse him for other tasks around the house, as he is the man of the house ya know.
And a DAMN good one!
Amanda helped him with hanging the bags, so she insisted on getting credit in the picture.
Job well done children!
My work here is done.

He looks so proud of his work! His face at the end is priceless.
cool little story. I can't build anything
That's so cool! Clever kids you have :-)
What a good idea and I bet your son was very proud of himself! Very creative on your part.
My son does the Bionicles and Lego things all the time. He even set up my Android phone, even though he'd never touched one before. It's great to have the curious creative types around! :-)
Ahhh! What a good man child! And isn't it great when your child can pick up the slack?
I know I'm glad that my now 14 year old knows how to "fix" the fan.
A most important accessory in our household. *smile*
The more practice you have building stuff the easier it gets! I use to build legos as a kid and now I can put together anything that comes with instructions!
He looks pretty happy with that. :D
I hate instructions!
Well done Brandon. Mama's little helper.
never had any doubt, the boy's a genius! sooooo! proud of him
