Blog challenge

I promised I would get to the blog challenge that Left Coast Guy and A Daft Scots Lass "nominated" me for, which means I'm actually going to have to think hard about this one.  No problemo, I'll gladly do it for those two, just 'cause they are that awesome.  Love them.

Anyhoo...

Basically I'll be digging up and linking to some old posts - you'll see, just read.  Let's get started shall we?

1.  My most beautiful post
Back in the very early times of my blogging, I posted The Best Love, something I had written in my journal a couple years prior.  I vividly remember the day I was writing about, Brandon was three and climbed into bed with us one night...

2.  My most popular post
I'm almost embarrassed to say that my post about the bathroom sink shit, Spread it on a cracker ,  has been my most popular post.  We'll just leave it at that.

3.  My most controversial post
My post Day 22 - Back to work soon unexpectedly generated some fire when an "anonymous" commenter, who turned out to be my former mother-in-law, decided to rake me over the coals.  I took the bait, but have since learned to ignore when someone is just trying to pick a fight.  There are a few interesting posts with regards to that whole situation, so if you have some extra time grab a bowl of popcorn and sit for a while.

4.  My most helpful post
It's in there somewhere was very helpful, in that the comments it generated helped up the self-confidence level.  I very much appreciated what you all had to say.

5.  A post whose success surprised me
Spring? surprised me with its success, in that somehow the post was visible on facebook without having put it up myself.  I think my mention of TSA must have done something in the interweb that I will never understand, because this gave me the most hits I've ever had, but only for a night.  Not exactly a great read, but it had a cool picture with it.  :)

6.  A post I feel didn't get the attention it deserved
I so wanted Asscracks at the Airport to take off, but it fell so fucking flat it made me sad.  I link to a video of me playing the guitar and singing - maybe if I had the actual video within the post it would have been more successful.  Just humor me, would you?  Watch the link I provide in the post for a small giggle.

7.  The post that I am most proud of
When I started my blog I called it "Deep Thoughts by Kim Bieske."  Yes, I'm aware of how LAME that was, but it was something.  Within a couple of weeks I posted The Accidental Somebody and the rest is history.

I've been writing this blog for almost four years, and only in the past few months has it really taken off.  I just want everyone to know how much I appreciate you, your willingness to hang with me once in a while, and your amazing support.  A big THANK YOU to everyone!

I started this blog as a way to keep family up to date with us. This was before my separation and my blog has gone through changes much like myself, over the last few years. This is why my former mother-in-law reads. My former sister-in-law also reads, and both of them read frequently. Yay.

I check this blog often to see pictures of my niece and nephew and how they are doing, since I don't see them often.

Asscracks at the airport never get enough attention, do they?

Hilarious.
